These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the lordofbmw.com website and the services provided by Lord of BMW, a specialized BMW service center and parts supplier operating in Nicosia, Cyprus. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Service and Repair Bookings
A. Quotation and Agreement
All service, repair, retrofit, and modification work is subject to a written quotation provided by Lord of BMW. Work will commence only after the customer provides explicit authorization (written or verbal) based on the quote.
B. Warranty on Service
Lord of BMW warrants that all services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. The warranty period for labor is specified on the invoice and begins from the date of completion. This warranty may be voided if the vehicle is subsequently repaired, modified, or diagnosed by any non-authorized third party.
C. Retrofit and Electrical Work
Due to the specialized nature of retrofits, key programming, and electrical modifications (common in E9x, F10, F30 models), the customer acknowledges that complex coding may be required. Lord of BMW guarantees the functional integration of the installed components but cannot be held liable for incompatible existing aftermarket parts or unforeseen issues arising from a vehicle’s pre-existing electrical modifications.
2. Online Parts Sales
A. New and Genuine Parts
All new and genuine parts sold are covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Lord of BMW acts as a retailer and will facilitate warranty claims with the manufacturer, but is not the ultimate guarantor of the product itself.
B. Certified Second-Hand Parts
Lord of BMW specializes in selling verified second-hand BMW parts. These parts are explicitly sold as used but are guaranteed by Lord of BMW to be functional and bench-tested at the time of sale. The warranty on used parts is strictly limited to initial functionality upon installation and does not cover long-term wear, tear, or failure due to incorrect installation by the customer or a third-party garage.
C. Fitment Guarantee (VIN Verification)
The customer is responsible for ordering the correct part. Lord of BMW offers a free VIN verification service. If the customer provides the last 7 digits of their VIN at the time of order, Lord of BMW guarantees the compatibility of the part with that specific vehicle, mitigating the risk associated with specialized models.
D. Shipping and Returns
Shipping is limited to Cyprus. Returns for incorrectly ordered parts may be subject to a restocking fee unless the error was made by Lord of BMW or the part was demonstrably covered by the VIN fitment guarantee.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Cypriot law, Lord of BMW shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the services or products sold, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or vehicle use. Our total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or part giving rise to the claim.
4. Intellectual Property
All content on the lordofbmw.com website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and the overall design, is the exclusive property of Lord of BMW and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content without our prior written permission.
5. Governing Law
These Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nicosia, Cyprus.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the website. Your continued use of the website and services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
